I’m almost done completing Kudzu. However should I keep it or sell it? I love the longbow, but it’s not very viable in pvp. Also with the history of the ranger getting nerfed over and over should I just sell it and buy another legendary for a different class?

i have a kudzu for more then two years now and its a blast really , iam a ranger thou , the ones that keep nerfed so if u wanna keep it make a guardian BUT DONT CREATE A RANGER

I feel like you’re better off going staff/greatsword or sword and torch than going longbow in pvp.

OP has a point there , thou i use a LB in PvP no matter what the meta says and i enjoy the sniping , u should keep that in mind @legionLord

It really just depends on with build you play tbh, if you are playing druid staff is better.

at some point you’ll want to go back to it , and the time invested is not worth selling it

i’d be gutted if i made one , then got rid of it even though i didn’t plan to use it in the future.

LB can combo enemies off point on Bunker Druid, as seen in ESL by several highly respected rangers and our very own Euratien.

There is also a muarder’s lockdown Druid using staff/LB

LB Survival with a highly skilled vanilla ranger can take many of the new specializations provided you have HoT pets.

LB is still solid for damage in PvE

LB is still solid in WvW zergs

LB is an excellent weapon in Zealots.

Make Kudzu and join my salad army.

I’d reccomend keeping it. Its true that longbow rangers get pretty well countered in the current PvP meta. But as was said above its a weapon that FEELS right to use. Youl eventually wan’t to pick it up again.

Also there could be changes coming up that help lower some of the classes (cough tempests cough cough) that participate most in negating our longbow. Once that happens the weapon will have more of a spot and you may feel less pidgeonholed into staff to avoid projectile hate.

I always make sure to swap to longbow when running back after a wipe in the raid. Totally worth 3k gold
