Should bears get taunt?
Hyena, and make them do laughing sound too lol.
I would be surprised if there wasn’t a pet that gets taunt, a utility to make your pet taunt, and/or a trait that triggers taunt from your pet when you are cc’d.
Something like “Taunts nearby enemies for 3 seconds, gaining protection for the duration” would bre very fitting imo
It could be possible when you consider the fact that some professions might be getting a fifth class mechanic ability (F5). Perhaps for Druids the pets get a second activate ability. All purely speculation, of course.

There would be something really weird about having a simian as a pet. I know ravens are supposed to be smarter than chimps, but they don’t look like people.
It probably doesn’t help that there was a race called “simians” in GW1 that seemed to have a primitive culture and used magic. It would be like having a hylek mercenary instead of a pet.
Personally, i hope that we lose the “guard” shout and gain a new shout called “distract them” that makes enemies get taunted by the pet.
I can not help but think a pet based taunt will be poorly implemented and the activation time will limit it usefulness in the action based game play they pride themselves one (just like the rest of the pet implementation).

Bear kittening better get taunt, just replace Bites rejuv with retal and make it taunt, boom bear is now an extremely useful pet.
