Pros
-Reveal (the only source on the game, played clever nulifies D/P thieves)
-AoE regen-swiftness
-Great burst with CC
Cons
-Medium cond removal, its pretty ok most of the times but on heavy cond classes you will have a problem..But this only in 1v1 situations, in 2v2, 3v3 etc i strongly believe you have the upper hand.
Burst builds like Warriors, Mesmers, Ele and Thiefs are pretty much selfish..Sure, a Hambow Warrior will have more cond removal and survivability and Thieves-Mesmers will have more ways to escape and slightly more burst.
Path of Scars does 2-3k dmg twice with a pull…If interupts a skills you can swap to deliver a Maul that adds another 3-4k ( can go way more, just the average ).
That means 5-7k with 2 easy skills( assuming the second Path of scars will miss)..But you wont end there, there is the pet for you to add some more dmg to the locked down target.Ive timed the pull with Drakes aoe or Wolfs knockdown and it was awesome.
Y, the path of scars does a slow travel and its easily avoided..I dont found this a problem, it just requires a little more effort…
Playing with this build i found out that its very helpfull in teamfights while being able to lock a target and burst him down..
I had problem with some heavy cond engi and Necros, but i can avoid the first cond burst with Protect me and Signet of Renewal….Guarantee full cond removal and you have a few secs to drop back probably wait to regen a little.And the 60sec CD on the Signet aint that long.
