Im playing this build lately and i found it really strong both in support and in survivability/dmg.. Huge burst coming from the pet.. Really huge.. Jaguar crits constant for about 1.2k – 1.4k, bites can reach 6-7k and with the stability provided is unstopable.. Ranger too does some good amount of dmg while under the effect of mights and the % dmgs increase..
The regen is insane.. Almost 100% regeneration, Singet of the Wild ticking for 130 + regen tick 272 = 402 hp/sec.. And every 25 sec another 986hp/sec.. You outheal every condition exept poison.. Poison hurst so you must save some dodges to cleanse it..

The reason that i choose Longbow is for the fast attacks.. I try to always keep a 20+ stacks of might on the pet.. While Axe seems an easy solution im not quite satisfied from the might stacking when im hitting ONE target.. For the new Rapid Fire x10 fast attacks is great for a trait as Companions might.. Rapid Fire, Hunters Call and companions might are great for stacking might. You can start the fight with already a lot of mights instead of waiting for some Axe auto attacks .. Auto attack will just keep em high. Also i like the utility that Longbow provides.. Stealth (3 sec of stealth means 402×3=1206hp), knockback, aoe Cripple and swiftness to the pet

Anyway ive tried a lot lately and i found it very strong.. Thoughts and opinions are welcome

i am sorry to put it this way, but you must be new to rangers.
Sure, the jaguar can produce such numbers, it can produce WAY higher numbers if you set it up right. however nothing shown in your posted build is impressive.
You boast low personal survivability, your pet does less then optimal damage due to traits and utilities, not to mention the pet is a melee pet. Which require you as the ranger, to CC the target to consistently land a solid burst. In the build you posted, pet should only ever hit reliably against players being rooted or players that are completely oblivious to the pet.

Sure you can build might on the pet, but pet damage alone is not enough to kill an opponent that is on equal or greater skill then yourself. Your own damage is far too low to even be supplementary, and the pet damage cannot be called reliable, without the CC to make it land.

The regeneration produced from shouts is strong, but once again, you have chosen a not too efficient amulet/build for such a setup. Regen alone will not save you unless you got the armor and damage mitigation to back it up.

You have also selected very bad pets whom to which you plan to use Protect Me with. Wolf and Jaguar both is in hte lower/mid end of pet HP and armor pools. They will melt within 1-2 seconds if you are focused. Thus all you are left with is 1-2 seconds of direct damage “invuln” and a few seconds of regeneration that will merely grant you a couple of seconds more “lifetime” before going down.
While this can work in a duel, it will not work in 1vX.

You also do not have any form of trigger or bonus, short of generosity sigil, that actually make GOOD use of that Precision of yours.

I would reccomend rebuilding following these guidelines;
Regen setups should have 700+ healing power for strong hp/second regeneration
They should have 2750 defense/armor, that is the minimum needed to “become a effective bunker”
They should have one or several ways to mitigate damage (either vigor for more dodges, evade skills, signet of stone)
They need a efficient stun breaker on a low as possible cooldown
They need a reliable source of condition removal or condition transfer

Lv 80 Guard, Ranger, Ele, Thief, warr, engi

Dual sword/dagger, take the vigor traits with energy sigils, full into bm, settlers amulet, two birds (the 2 with lacerating slash), learn in which order to use the 100 evades and troll people all day with a pet that does 6k damage in 1 second, cripples and then comes the next one out which again does 6k damage and re-cripples. (oh and perhaps take the poison master trait for added fun)
