Is there any reason that Guard is the only shout in the game that got a cast time?
I really get annoied that all these perplexity-noobs can interrupt my SHOUT?! -_-

Because guard need to check the current state of the AI of your pet and the time the server need to do that is in that cast time.
That is the same reason why pet F2 skills can’t be instant cast.

I understand that the pet needs some time to execute the command due the connection between pets and the server.

But why does my ANIMATION have a cast time then?
I really accept that the pets need time to execute my shout but I think it really sucks that my shout animation is not instant.
