You can still get any Order’s armor, if it’s just for the looks. If you have a character with the Order of Whispers chosen, buy the hood, transmute it onto some white low level helmet (it should make it account bound) and put it into your bank. Then you can take it out as a ranger and transmute it again on anything you want.

EDIT: The same procedure will work for the Thief starting hood, if you like that more.

Hi! This is my lvl 80 ranger wearing a T2 Sylvari cultural. ^^

My level 80 norn ranger.

Arachnophobia shortbow, endless quiver, anonymous thief hood, duelist shoulders, t2 norn cultural chest, t2 gloves, vigil leggings, whispers boots.

Will be swapping out the duelist shoulders for cof shoulders shortly.

My beautiful. sexy, and deadly norn huntress… Level 44 / transmog’d armor to look like the Berserker Duelist set.

I haven’t seen people getting banned for that, but I suppose it’ll be fixed eventually. Most likely you just won’t be able to do that anymore, like they did with the cultural armor – since Oct, 1 transmuted cultural armor prevents opposing races from equipping it.

Yes it is, I got one myself. 95% happy with it, the 5% isnt because those 250 ectos could have went into my legendary progress, lol.

a mix of various norn tiers, in abyss, mithral, green apple.
weapons: charr t3 longbow, corrupted shortbow, kodan greatsword, sylvari t3 shortsword and warhorn.

After browsing through the forums a bit, I found this post So here is my Elwing, I’m in a work now so the pic isn’t best and I changed the colors a bit since this screen was taken. She’s still nice though :P

My Level 80 Ranger. Wearing the Nightmare set, minus the helm and shoulders (shoulders clip with my hair). Pact shortbow. Dyes are Celestial, Royal Blue, and Illumination on the gloves. Guild colors!

Here’s my ranger Hunter Haylee (i know it should be huntress but it came to my mind too late xD).
Full CoF armor and TA helm.
I also have TA chest and legs but they don’t feel right either.. I am still looking for the perfect appearance for sylvari ranger..

I like the corset part of this top but not the sort of jacket one, that’s why I’ll stick with the duelist top… like you said, until we get better.

This isn’t really the right place to ask that question, but you continue to get XP so you can get more skill points, which is also a currency.
