Hi Dev’s

how about a little help with countering those pesky invis thieves? (not asking for a nerf for them)

I’ve played my ranger 90% of the time since i started this game back last Sept and this is my first post in this forum. So i ask very little , even when our class needs tuning in many ways.

But what i would like to see is another signet , which grants pets a “SEE INVIS” ability when activated for a determined amount of time (not 3 seconds, 20+ would be usefull) . Unactivated ability insert here -…..-

This would allow pets not to be totally useless against thieves (and other invis class’ and would not give them the totally unfair reset opportunity that they have.

Being a signet would mean we have to sacrifice one of our precious other slots for this counter…so it would be far from being a free buff.

If there’s a problem with thieves, I’d rather they just fix thieves instead of make us take up a slot to attempt to address essentially a problem caused by one class. If Rangers were the only ones complaining about thieves it would make sense to give Rangers a counter, but it’s most/all classes that complain (mostly in wvw), so you have to look at the source of the problem, rather than the “victims.”

That being said, we’ll have to see how this trap thing in wvw that’s supposed to reveal the stealthed is going to work out.
