…and I suck at playing it in team fights.
I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing wrong but I didn’t create this topic to talk about my suckage. I wanted to see if anyone else had made a similar build and is having success with it in PvP.

You stack might with Bonfire + CotW, weapon swaps, signets and getting hit. You can get up to 20 stacks of might on a good day. Which takes your condi damage to 1922.
It’s quite easy for me to take out all classes in a 1v1 but anything higher than that is just a chore you don’t want to be involved in.
I’ve not tried might stacking in a condi build nor have I tried it in PvP, but I have been trying might stacking in WvW and have found it’s better to take Might Swap than might from signets.
So, I’d suggest losing the 4 points in MS and putting them into BM (or putting 2 in BM and 2 in NM, but i prefer a beafier pet).
You’ll get more might from this (can swap more than you can use signets) and pet will be a monster with 4 BM and all that might, and it also gives you more freedom to change utilities if you want to.

As this is a condition build, I’m trying to keep the condition duration. I have tried what you’ve said though, I just decided increased duration to my main source of damage would be more appropriate.
May be better with the jungle stalker rather than the lynx since with mighty swap and its roar you will give it 13 stacks and yourself 8. The might on it would ramp up faster than the lynx so even though the lynx would have those 4 extra bleeds the stalker would do more overall damage. Can even pree cast it to give yourself a head start in battle.
Oh a tip for using mighty swap. Show your pet and have the stalker as the main pet. When you enter combat it spawning counts as a swap, use its roar and swap again and you will have the spider out and 11 stacks of might on yourself.
From loud whistle and mighty swap alone you will maintain an easy 6 to 9 stacks and more for every time you swap weapons, get hit and the stalker roar.
Edit: I understand the need to keep the condi duration but at only 20% I don’t think it will give you more that one extra tick on any of your bleeds or burns since their base duration isn’t huge. The extra 350 condi duration and potential extra bleeds from cats or vigour on swap may prove more useful in the long run.

As Sigmoid said, the 20% conditiom duration isnt actually helping you that much. It adds 1 extra tick to S3, T4 and A2. Thats it, and even then thats assuming they dont cleanse this skills before the end of their duration (with is the case of the burning and bleeds is quite likely).
But even if they dont cleanse and you get the extra ticks, they will in no way come even close to matching the extra damage your pet withh bring.
Edit: Also as an asside, looking at your build again, you have in general very poor condition application. Without sigils like geomancy or on-crit procs or even a SB, you have only 1 way to apply bleeds. I really dont think you have enough condition application to bring people down with that alone.

Thanks for the tips. I do always stow my pet so I got that benefit without even realizing it. I’ll try what you said and see how it pans out.
Just remember unless you get a full second or , for duration stacking skills, you can rapidly keep applying it so the fractions add up…condition duration is wasted.
Why not run drakes for the blast if you want to stack might? Could be more useful than the pets you have.

Because they are not guaranteed to blast where you want them to.
Wow. Well done. This is actually quite an interesting idea. Will have to look into this some more.
Very well built , it consistanly cycles +3stacks every weapon swap, very well thought out. as it seems signet of the hunt can be used to maintan the might stacks if you need a few more seconds before a weapon swap.
+1 Dirame
Pro tip
Any pet swap effects also apply when pet comes out of “Stowed” position.
Stow your pet as often as you can, enter combat, pet appears. All on swap effects are activated. Swapping the second it appears applies a second stack of swap effects (but you are without pet swap for a while).
HINT HINT it also works with zephyr’s speed HINT HINT apply super long vigor to team HINT HINT

I run ZS and Vigorous training and have totally been taking advantage of this…
Btw, doesn’t vigorous training apply vigor based on your pets boon duration?

I’m not sure this is true. The amount of bleed damage done with crossfire (3s bleed) is definitely increased with just 20% condi increase, at least when I tested it in HoM.

It would allow higher stacks and thus look like more damage but from my understanding each individual bleed stack will still only get three ticks.
