They didn’t say anything in the ready up and they did point other changes. Also there are traits that modify some offhand weapons so my guess is no, we got another nerf.
Mentioning or not, they could have just forgotten.

EDIT: As long as anduriell keeps his skeptical attitude, I’d like to mention that they haven’t said a word about healing skills and RaO becoming shouts,traps and survival skills.
And we all could take a hint that Healing Spring is becoming a trap. Yet, they forgot to mention it and it’s not in the general changes.

though call of the wild has had its base Radius increased to 750 which i saw on a post of the AMA img.jpeg somwhere in a thread so it might of gone the same route .

ya they had a slip of the tongue had some words about it , but it wasn’t in the slideshow but they are clearly still Humming and arhing over it all since none of the devs play Ranger seriously enough to have deeper thoughts about it.
on the other hand it could so clear as day light , they didn’t even bother mentioning it as its going to happen anyway , other classes have types to their heals so why doesn’t ranger , we have nothing linked to a type set currently so i see no reason Not to make them shouts/survival and trap skills.
also Trappers expertise will be granting 60% longer boons and longer Condi durations while offensive traps add Cripple , so ya HS comfirmed as trap what else is going to synergise with that 60% longer boons.
other traps giving off boons while Spirits will be pulsing boons , can;t realy have two different sets of skills doing the same thing can we? so my bet is its As clear as day and it is happening there is no other evidence unless they do the DUMB thing and do a 180’ on the idea which is highly unlikely.
