Solar Beam damage as druid
Channel spells add the damage they do till they finish it. If you very quickly ‘cast a channel again’, it may bug and add multiple channels endlessly, till you get a very high damage number.
It last about 2-3 sec one channel. If the damage keeps adding more, it’s a bug (it should have reset by then).
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option

If it ticks for 2500, 3000, 3500 – you’re not doing that dmg every time, but rather the difference, so 500 per pulse. The numbers you see is the damage added up from the beginning of the cast.
that makes sense. but it should be reset. this is absolutely a bug. i cant recall any game I have played where a damage spell report is cumulative.
The damage from those kind of channelled spells adds up, at least for me on eles scepter aswell, as long as the break between the channels is short enough.
doesnt seem like a good design imo.
in any case, i want them to also change the spell name to Sonar Beam because of the sound effect.
Spatial Surge (Mesmer gs) and hundred blades (warrior gs) are two other notables.
I once had a warrior try to convince me his hundred blades always did 75k on the heavy golems on spvp isle.
As for its sound, I like that its unique. I don’t need or want it to sound like a laser sci-fi beam. Could it sound different? Ya I suppose.
