It’s truly sickening that anet is doing this to us players intentionally. I am born and raised in Brokeback Mountain, Wisconsin so I am very acustom to the wildlife and nature. I feel that anet is purposely not implementing the moose as a ranger pet because they are homophobic and severing all ties with the movie Brokeback Mountain. I have made multiple characters trying to simulate the look of a moose but it not the same. I wish to see the fury of my moose ram the enemies nice and hard, but I cannot. Anet this is disgusting and horrible of you to show such hate and ignorance to your paying customers. Please consider making this happen or I will be deepy and truly depressed.

PS. Please make them ride-able. Kthx

I second this. I am from Canada and moose are everywhere, I actually have 2 of them in my backyard as pets. They are incredibly loyal and intelligent, please allow us rangers to take these cunning beasts with us into battle.

No, beaver pet has a CD so it is unavailable 1 week a month.

Came for the moose pet, but stayed for the beaver pet.

So long as I can have a cow as a ranger pet whose F2 is a “Battle Moo!” That strikes fear in everyone nearby (like in the event chain where you train the cows to kill wolves) I’m in!

Arenanet could learn a lot from the WoW pet system. Hiding rare, hard to capture pets all over the world? That’s a hell of a lot more entertaining than what we have now.

i’m from ’merica and i want to go full redneck and have a race car. maybe give it some eyeballs and a big smile like those stupid disney movies.

I really want a cow pet. It could provide double badges of honor upon my death to the enemy. I would use this when in zerker mode in WvW.

It’s F2 could be gender specific.
Female Characters swoon over how cute your pet is. For 10 seconds, no one fights.
Male Characters 50% chance they lose focus and targeting every 3 seconds as they contemplate rib eye or strip steak? All male characters who joined the Vegan guild are immune to this effect but must have no more than 1000 power.

I am very happy someone is finally speaking up about lack of culturally-important pets in this game.

I am from Mozambique, in my country my people value the gazelle as both loyal pets and fierce hunting companions. I feel GW2 is incomplete without the option to train, nurture and charge into battle with one of my favorite creatures of the planície. Anet, in the future please be more sensitive to players from different backgrounds who are accustomed to non-NA species as pets.

I will be very disappointed if Anet does not implement the gazelle as a ranger pet in the Dec. 10th patch.

As a Scotsman I feel that Anet should include our national animal as a pet, too. The unicorn.
