After checking feature pack page and Skill Bar, something they seem to forgot to give to rangers. This is mainly referring to the fact that thief’s venom are now based on user’s condition damage.

Now I wonder, what about ranger’s sun spirit?
Shouldn’t us ranger get the same treatment and have the burn based on our stat?

I mean, they remember to give necro dagger extra target -_-

I just did a simple test in the mist with the golems
With a settler amulet

My ranger sun spirit proc burning with 558 per tick
My pet with 0 Condition damage proc burning 325 per tick

So how is it based on my own condition damage?

Rangers are not equal to Necromaners or Thieves. We have to wait in the back of the line like everyone else. Always at the back of the line….

Rangers need other builds to be viable. The spirit build is one of the cheesier builds in the meta, up there with MM necros and turrent engis, so I can see why they didn’t buff it.

And don’t worry. Venom thieves will still be greatly hindered in providing stun breakers and condition cleansing, so don’t expect them to suddenly become the meta or anything. =P
