I would love to see Rangers being able to fight with spears (not underwater ofc).It would work nicely with warhorn.

I also would like to see shields for Rangers

Do you guys think this could be a thing?

The devs said a long time ago they eventually want to expand current weapons to more classes before they add new ones.

I think if they ever do that, spear and especially shield will be good candidates for rangers. I wouldn’t hold my breath though.

Spear will probably be a two handed weapon if they ever release it for land combat.

What would be really cool is if they made it both. If you just use the spear it functions as a 2h melee weapon, but changes to a 1h ranged if you use an offhand.

That is the main reason how I came to this idea

Hammers and Spear + Shield should be the first new weapons to ranger, followed by staff and pistols.
