Just throwing this out there in case a dev is lurking around Needs coverage.

This really needs a change. With the global reduction of damage, spirits just became usable, but this one is still very hard to place since the radius is so small and with Raid bosses likely to be moving around a lot, as can be seen with ValeGuard, 240 range is next to useless.

Can we get it made standard 1000 like the others? Even the active has a 900 radius with Nature’s Vengeance.

Can we also get an instant reaction to the Revive?
It’s horrible to have to wait for 5 seconds till the ability takes effect. And I can’t really afford to wait 5 seconds to revive somebody. And I don’t want to play a russian roulette to blow it as a precaution and risk a completely useless CD in case I die a second after the animation time.
(Spirit Cast time 1,5 sec., active ability availability 0,5 sec., roughly 2,5 seconds for the cast time of the spirit – without any human factor included)

The players usually die due to starvation (if not other means) till they are revived unlike Warrior’s Banner. And banner has no counter-play unlike Spirit that can be killed/interrupted.

Yea I agree with OP. But as a Sylvari, I take Druid Spirit, because it draws condis, gives out a passive regen, has ranged DMG, that attacks up to 5 targets and immobilizes them. I prefer that spirit over nature on hands down.

You mean reduce the 1000 range of Spirits to 600 range like Banners or change “range” to “radius” on the tooltip description?

No, I meant when you place a banner down you get a blue circle showing the radius of its buff. When you place a spirit, I’d like to see a similar circle showing the range of the buff.

Maybe it’s my graphics settings, but banners for me don’t show the blue circle unless you pick it up and use one of the AOE buffing skills.

A reliable 120 sec revive CD is fine.
It’s not reliable and having unreliable ress even on 45 seconds would be weak.

Yeah, this one is kinda funny. I haven’t used it since the radius was redunced to 240.

You just have to run into the AoE circle of doom surrounding your downed ally, stand there for a few seconds to cast the spirit, then activate the revive portion of the skill and hope that it activates before it gets blown up, you get blown up, or your friend succumbs to the circle of doom.

Yeah… no thanks. Maybe if you’re lucky it will revive you too, because you’ll probably be downed as well, by the time it activates!
