A couple things:

• For PvE/PvP/WvW, we know that those are 3 different playstyles, we don’t just lump PvE and WvW together.

Considering WvW and PVE use the same skill values, yes you do.

We’re starting to split PvE/WvW in the upcoming patch.

But we want them to be things that keep consistency across the game types as much as possible.

I’m not sure how this will effect www nor PvE, but it’s a big step in the right direction. Imo, www and PvE should be separated from the beginning.

How will this impact Rangers?
I think Rangers can finally outshine in www!

I agree, ranger really needs split skills for not only wvw/pve but spvp as well.

hopefully this means more team oriented skills for PVE.

Maybe, although they made it clear they didn’t want to over buff pets with things like AOE reduction because they can duo or solo end game bosses (the argument that warriors can already do this doesn’t stand up, just because one class is broken in that respect doesn’t mean that you make another one broken to keep up) but it could mean they are willing to reduce AOE damage in WvW which would be helpful because I’m sick of my pet standing in a pool of AOE and dying because I had no where to move and pet swap was already on cooldown because the last pet was also stood in a pool of AOE.

Could mean nothing though, who knows.

I think Xsorus especially means the Asuran confusion skill Pain Inverter^^
Probably they will half the confusion damage for WvW to be in line with spvp confusion damage.
And I hope they make a change to retaliation for wvw – like an ICD how often you can be hit by it.

They’ll gut confusion in World vs World, to many players don’t know how to stop attacking for it to remain to be honest. Anet tends to cater to the plebs..

Oh the hilarious part is I’ll be taking a nerf because Mesmer’s and Engineer’s kind of like how other took a nerf with QZ because of Warriors/Thieves hehehe

of course this isn’t the first time Mesmer’s have ended up getting me nerfed

I hope that they will allow a separate skillset to be used in wvw / pve. That’s something that should have been implemented from the start.

They also need to get rid of any costs associated with changing specs, that’s one goldsink this game doesn’t need, and for sure it doesn’t encourage players to try out different builds.
