Got into a debate today in Edge of the Mists about the trait Spotter. Some guy kept saying I should use Piercing Arrows instead of Spotter because he said Spotter is party-based and another person chimed in that Spotter only affects five people.

Is this true? I was under the impression from the Wiki that Spotter affects everyone within a 600 range.

It is true, Spotter only affect 5 people that are in the range of 600.

5 targets like all the other party buffs (empower allies, strength in numbers etc..) and I believe it prioritizes party members in a larger group.

Well, I wish ArenaNet would update the description text to say it only affects 5 people.
