For some puzzles (I only tried Drydock Scratch) you can use the wisp travel to make precision jumps for you. Just, uh, be careful; it works best on things that are below you and not too far away.

yep only try it on things lower than you, but it can go quite far.

Swapping weapons right before you land will stop that.

Same as you can use Hornets, swap weapons immediately to another sword to cancel the roll-back animation, but the skill still flips to Monarchs. Then leap, swap weapons again to cancel the leap animation. Means you can use the sword leaps for jumping puzzles with practice.
