No matter what pet i equip upon swapping maps my starter pet the alpine wolf gets re-equipped. Any Idea how to fix?

After reloads (map change, when you get out of the water, after you stow …) you always get to the top pet from your list, so change the order of them in your list.

No i mean the starte pet isnt even one of the two i have equipped. I have bristleback and smokescale equipped but upon loading a new map it kicks one of them and puts on alpine wolf

Are you a new or experienced player? If new, are you mistaking water pets for land pets? PvP pets for PvE pets? Have you tried logging out and back in?

I’m also getting this bug, say I change my first pet slot to a Bristleback it will stay a Bristleback until I change zones, as soon as I change a zone it will change the first pet slot back to the Pink Moa (My starting pet). So I have to constantly change the first pet slot to a pet I actually want to use as it keeps resetting.

huh. that’s a weird bug. never seen that one happen before

have you tried maybe going in the pvp lobby, change some pets, then go back to pve and retry if the bug is still present?

I’m getting this problem too, it seems to change every loading screen, so my pet keeps changing when I log out and back in as well.
