PS: They are moving, they are moving slowly but moving, anet does balancing changes very slowly to make sure things are actually getting balanced and not just make drastic changes and see how everything plays out.

I really don’t get posts like this. Bye and good riddance? I haven’t been playing the game myself because I’m waiting to see what they do with the Ranger. I want to play nature oriented characters and right now the Ranger is falling short. But it’s not like this game has a sub fee so stop acting up like a drama queen.
I concentrate on my art, play Okami. And once I’m done with Okami, I’, going to try some other game. Maybe after all that time, ANet has their patch ready. Would you rather have patching like in WoW where they might completely change the gameplay of your beloved class and mainstread it into kittenness 1-2-3?

If only we knew what we are getting next patch. But we done.
Next patch, I’m sure we’ll be getting typo fixes on our tooltips and underwater weapon buffs. Oh wait.
Lol nope, bet they nerf is underwater, because pet heal is op down there….atleast because it keeps going when downed. Maybe they can just make the stow option….

Fact: every Thief tells you to “l2p” when the subject is to nerf stealth.
The problem is that the PvP forums have finally realised that Rangers exist and, in their bid to turn the entire game into people just auto attacking each other with no other skills, started complaining they are OP.
Anet doesn’t care about PvE and will bend over backwards to get in any ‘balance’ change the PvP forums shout about so these Ranger changes will never come. No useful utilities outside of traps, no fixing our horrible traits and SB plus quickness will forever be broken.
ranger is actually really good. power builds need a little somethin, spirits need a rework still and pets require further pathing improvements.

Yea Im kinda through waiting atm. Unless they come out with somethign amazing such as perma stow idea and a rework of the longbow Im really just playing rifle warrior till ESO and neverwinter.

And liars will lie. Do not delude yourself into thinking that Rangers are fine. True, some people severely overestimate how much the class sucks, but we’re right down there with engineers and (arguably) necromancers when it comes to class balance. It is utterly undeniable that the very core aspects of our class (pets, spirits, sigils and shouts) need quite a few bug fixes and minor buffs, as it is also undeniable that thieves, warriors, and mesmers currently utterly dominate PvP. Likewise, guardians utterly dominate PvE. The only thing we dominate is the graveyard, if this game had one.

We’ve been left out for a long time, but december patch gave me some hope and stopped me from quitting.
So many comments to my info about rangers being buffed? Well, all I can say is, in 2-3 weeks I will say “what did I say”…but then again I might be more informed than you. ACtually, there will be a big buff next patch.
@OP: Emmm don’t let the door hit you on the way out? Seriously. This is a game and if it’s not fun for you by all means leave. And I won’t think any less of you… But honestly I won’t miss you either. It’s the smart thing to do, though drama exists like this do little to no good, if anything at all. Well the venting frustration might make you feel better, there is that. There is no single justification to have something that is not obligated in any shape or form and meant purely for entertainment stress you out and then stay with it. If it stops being fun for the love of all that people hold holy get away from it as it is stress you don’t need and don’t have to have and you are not likely to add something positive to the community in that state anyway (in fact likely the opposite if it doesn’t hold constructive critism the creators can do something with). But really… it is just a game, a time eater, pixels on a screen… hardly stuff to get wind up about in the grand scheme of thing.
While we really appreciate that you took the time to give us your feedback, we’ll now close this thread as it does not invite to a constructive discussion.
