Now I know this has been questioned a lot but most of what I can see is people complaining that they don’t want to have to use the pet to be liable in damage, but I don’t see why there needs to be ANY change other than the pet gets stowed completely without coming back out in combat. That act alone is a buff for the ranger in terms of going into combat at inappropriate times because your pet is in the wrong position.

Let’s face it – It’s so damn frustrating going into combat when you need to jump and missing the jump because your pet is being stupid, causing you to slow down just before the jump – or when you are trying to sneak past a mob and you take fall damage, bringing out the pet and forcing combat onto the group (quite often wiping the group). Maybe if you just put a timer on the pet when you go into combat that is half that of when the pet dies to stop the pet from automatically appearing at your side when you call for it again. This is something that has bugged me since release and I hope that there is a change soon.

put ur pet on passive if u are just running through an area >.> im not sure what kinda situations u are refrencing here but i dont think many people have many issues with pets in a pve environment that requires jumping while u are taking dmg reaguraly that would pop the pet out of stow to begin with. can u elaberate on what u are refering to?
