I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t need to use a staff in order to call myself a druid.. As long as I’m running the druid line, I can call myself a druid and go through the game calling myself a druid. In fact, I’ll get a name change contract and rename myself to “Ima Druid kitten”.
I’m experimenting with the bleed build that was posted here, and will see how that goes. It looks like it has potential. No staff, but meh.. it’s the best I can do at the moment.
I didn’t actually say “kitten” above, but that would be funny, too.. I was attempting to say a word synonymous with “Darnit”

To be honest, I was kind of hoping that someone could convince me to play Druid. I really do want to love it, and I think it has potential, but it’s not doing a whole lot for me right now. I don’t play Ranger in PvP, but I might give bunker Druid a shot. I’m still hopeful that raids might have a slot for Druid, too.
I run a lb/gs druid with Assassins gear (+ a couple celestial/clerics) , I find it works pretty well for all purpose PVE . I use glyphs with Verdant Etchings to build the majority of my AF, and focus on having almost as good damage as a classic power ranger while adding huge amounts of CC through glyphs and Celestial Avatar. CC is extremely important in Magus Falls, and still pretty useful in WvW.
