Superior Rune of Strength?
I’m thinking Companion’s Might will be a better way of using WHaO to get might stacks.
Spirits will still be meh.
you’ll need a lot of investment on the might maintaince you’ll need the jungle stalker+companions might , though i do see your point using strenght runes after transfering the 5might from mighty roar 26seconds left after cast times added a extra 45% to that.
about 12seconds more
38seconds / 25second might cooldown it doesn’t push it far enough to get a extra 5 stacks out of it but extends the duration between mighty roars might applications.
frost spirit doing that yes will give you 2 might perma after the first 3seconds you’d still have a total of 12might but it requires consistant use of mighty roar to maintain it.
if you build in Clarions bond instead of Compaions might that will work better with nature magic and gradually improve the pets might rather than having the might spike from crits , add on Sigil of battle too that gives the pet a extra 2 stacks every weapon swap
so you’d be maintain
frost+runes+mighty roar = 12 might(based on aftert the first 25seconds of Prep time)
battle sigil+ sigil of strenght = 7 might (average)
clarions bond+fire field= 4 might + 8 pet.
you’d maintain 21 on average for a duration after might roar and Regualar use of clarions bond.
pet swap to jungle Stalker > mighty roar > weapon rotations>mighty roar> heal as one(should let you copy over 21-23might every 25seconds) considering normal weapon rotations which would last you 38seconds on the long duration might stacks then it will drop down to 12-14 might for a very short Period though at this point it all comes down to Weapon swap and pet swap timings as soon as you learn to control the clarions + that you can stack as much might as quickly or slowly as you like.
but you could effectively drop frost spirit and still be fine .

This is a cool idea, but I think PvP is the place to use it. You can really quickly get 25 stacks of might on your pet with MH axe and 2 opponents/clones/pets. That’s going to be crazy.
This is my strength of ruin build. It can maintain 25 stacks of might easily. Especially against mobs and using pierce.
why is everyone assuming it will be a straight boon conversion instead of a static amount?

Because its the forums lol.
It will probably be a default length of time like fortifying bond, but it will probably be affected by strength runes, or what is even the point of the runes. And if not, with axe autoattack you should still be able to very quickly get some great stacks of might on yourself.

This. It most certainly won’t be a straight conversion, but a static one just like every other conversion skills that exist in GW2. Too much information for the game to process otherwise, I would assume. But if they follow suit with Mesmer’s boon copying skill SoI as well as fortifying bond like fluff mentioned, then it might even be better since most might generating skills ranger has are under 5s in duration and if the might copied gives between 10-20s might, then it’s probably something better in result.
I’d say 10s as worst scenario as there are skills that convert cond into boons and those only give around 10s of might.
ie. Thief’s traited steal(doesn’t show in wiki but it was about 10s when I tried it), Guard’s Pure of Voice and Necro’s Well of Power.
Would like to point out that if you ran Strength Runes with the food Fried Golden Dumpling, you have 65% Might duration (20% boon, 45% might) and that is not even with Nature Magic or a bountiful utility.
So you can essentially double whatever the static duration will be. If its 10s, the might stacking will still be real.

Left things blank depending on playstyle and game mode but ye. still pretty good.
