Anyone have tips for this build? It’s centered around condi bursting and spamming of the pets F2 for blindness, weakness and taunt.

I love how the new traps work and I would like to work them into a condi build at some point but survival skills just have too much utility. I feel like I can get almost if not as much of a condi burst with QZ and sharpened edges as traps but I get a condi cleanse from the survival skills, a cool escape with QZ and it’s not nearly as position dependent.

Thoughts on this type of build vs traps? Runes and sigils? Condi burst vs power ala the shoutbow build?

it uses both traps and survival skills. I feel like Troll Unguent, Zephyr, and entangle are enough for trait purposes, and use the rest for traps.

Since the build focuses more on burning and making your opponent miserable w/ blind,weakness, spam and the occasional taunt, I use Carrion.

Looks fine to me, although I’d question whether refined toxins is worth it over ambidexterity. Depends if you find you’re able to keep yourself at high health frequently enough.

I don’t know what pet you want to run alongside the eagle since the eagle works really well with those traits, but I’d suggest running the warthog so that ANet has a better chance to see how badly the porcine line of pets need buffing (I want my pig to be good).

what skills do you try to get the quickdraw reduction on?

Quickdraw on Splitblade or Throw Torch/Bonfire is super strong for all that condi stack.

Also, they should really consider adding an effect to ‘Hidden Barbs’ since its been nerfed to 20% bleed damage instead of 33%: The old Keen Edge (apply ‘Sharpening Stone’ when target reaches 75% health) Please aNet please.
