I’ve been ranger since launch, and it’s been my main since launch with over 900 hours played on my ranger alone.

I’ve endured nerf after nerf, shoddy update after shoddy update, and more promises broken than I can count. I’ve dealt with bad DPS, bad pet AI, and a bad reputation in groups.

But now…

Oh my fellow rangers, now….

Faster LB with more damage, new evade on GS with more damage, 12 seconds of invuln with protect me + signet of stone without needing to be traited for it. Stealth on traps with runes, might with the axe. Been playing SPvP all day and nothing can touch me besides other rangers.

Now… IT’S OUR TURN!!!

I guess that’s true if your plan is to never touch dungeons.

honestly some people , some are just unhappy because they don’t know how to deal with it, not having to dodge such Pre-patch Squishy wet paper RP’s and short ranger Lb was a joke now its on balance. its now fellow rangers.

ps people that will complain just remeber tonight there are way more rangers than the normal amount give it a while to die down till people go back to playing their main chars.

That’s the plan!

Yeah, I was winning most encounters before the update (except against those kitty kat turret engies). It’s nice of ANet to give us a little boost, however. We have nice options now. I hope they balance things out by buffing other class abilities instead of nerf batting us, because I love the changes.

After the april patch (read RtW and SotF was introduced) i remember for about 2 weeks in soloq there where at least 2 rangers on either side most matchups, i even play a 5 ranger vs 5 ranger.

I’ve come to the conclusion the most people are closet rangers, just waiting for them to be buffed enough that it not so hard to play

yeah, in 8-10 month time, so get use to it. aw and that’s 1 ranger, now go into Tpvp and see how many of them are on each team LoL

He blew all his cool downs to kill a normal PvE mob. Most professions can do something like that. Also on reddit recently was a video of bootspurr killing the heavy golem in less than a second on his ele.

Not that exciting.

so what is the current pvp meta for rangers

so can we have a rangers only guild and call it Age of The Ranger
I’m already laughing at the idea of zergs comprised of only rangers running around wvw

That’s nubish.
If you start with RF, you lose the attack of oportunity thingy, as the +50% damage does not apply to the whole RF, just only the 1st of the ten hits. You can start with LRS which will crit up to 10k with buffs, on lights or scaled players, and then proceed with 14k RF.

Why? Because he put himself under ideal conditions, activated every utility (including pet), and killed a garbage pve mob?

Meanwhile a single dodge would probably negate all that damage.

Well we have damage like theifs almost now, but they still majorly trumps us in mobility and survability.
