Where are all the tameable animals now?
My Asura ranger is level 15 now, still in Metrica and I did not see any animal to pick up.

Much of this list has yet to be updated in light of the NPE. Many of these (such as Hyena and Brown Bear) are no longer available at their lowest-level locations – Brown Bear, for example, is no longer found at the Bear shrine, but can be found in Gendarran Fields.
Some have been left alone, though I’m uncertain as to why they were or were not moved/removed. Presumably something about newbie Rangers being bewildered by boatloads of beastly buddies.

I heard that as well, yet I can still see them. Are they just invisible for non-level 80s or something?

I have only played on my low level charr ranger since the update, so I haven’t done anything with a lvl 80 char……

I definitely didn’t see any juvenile hyenas or any other juveniles in plains of ashford….

From Anymras.5729’s post it sounds like only some were removed. I had a new ranger ask in Caledon map chat where to find pets, so I went to a few spots I know juvenile animals were located and still saw them. Spiders at the top of Morgan’s Spiral for example.

Most of the animals are currently located under WvW discussion subforum. I don’t think they are tameable tho and I wouldn’t suggest to pet them. They bite and if you feed them nuts, they will throw ’em right back at you.

does the Anet team plans on adding new pet to the game. Ive been pondering if they plan to give us back the phoenix from Factions or eye of the north back again in the game.

I mean come on now that ranger petbuilds are usefull why not add a new pletora of lovely pet to the game

:3 tigers? Phoenix? Desert lizards? Maybe an Ostrich or even a tamable raptor?
We also could use some longlegged birds to.
A dolyak or cow? i mean why no cow?

Bad and good is in the eye of the believers each pet got its own fonction after all
