The Ranger skill Moment of Clarity is supposed to double the duration of inflicted dazes. The daze duration from Technobabble (Asura utility) is not doubled. A-net, please fix

Might as well toss this into the bug forum in the Ranger Bugs post ran by Taverius. It would be a nice “bump” due to the plethora of other bugs arising since Heart of Thorns release that pushed the topic to the 20th page.

i believe this was tested some time ago but the tooltip was never updated to reflect it.

@Terravos – Is technobabble no longer worth it? I seem to recall seeing somewhere MOC was nerfed. I’m returning to the game and going to roll a Ranger—so I’m trying to decide if I should go Asura for that or Norn for stealth/escape.

I think MoC now applies the 50% bump of the tooltip instead of the 100% bump we had for years. (?)

Well I’m a noob, so take my opinion with a grain of salt—but a 4.5 seconds daze doesn’t seem worth it, especially on a not as bursty class. 6 seconds would certainly be more appealing.

Id go norn although being tiny has advantages. Once in a while I slot snow leopard, you can even fight in it a little, but I certainly wouldn’t keep it on bar always.

It’s funny how some things and some don’t….after being gone 2+ years Norn is still popular for Leopard, and Asura for being a smaller target.

I’m probably going to go Norn for the elite. Technobabble was pretty niche to begin with—nerf seems to just make it not worth it. I wouldn’t use always keep Leopard on the bar—but maybe when travelling around/scouting in WvW. I actually have a 37 ranger from before I left…but I can’t think of any good reason to stay human—and I do have a ticket to go straight to level 20.
