I had read online that this combo works, so I tried it on my Asura 80 Ranger last night.

First of all, when I hovered over the technobabble skill it still said 3 seconds. Then I attacked an enemy and actually counted, and it seemed to still be three seconds.

Did they “nerf” this combo recently, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Mine is still 6 seconds.

Sorry to revive this but I tried this out today and was only getting 3 seconds as well. Anyone else still getting 6 seconds or was this changed with the patch?

Just tested now. I’m still getting 6 seconds in WvW and open world PvE.

I wonder (because I can’t test this myself), for the people NOT getting 6 seconds, are you opening combat with Technobabble, or using it after you are already in combat?

Same with people getting 6 seconds, are you already in combat when you use it?

I have a habit of opening with an auto attack to avoid wasting a skill against a passive block. For those that it’s working for, is the tool tip saying 6 seconds or are you counting?

Maybe it has to do with having the skill on the tool bar before equipping three trait, or vice versa. I’ll check it out when I get back to my computer.

I tried it before getting into combat, still 6s. MoC doesn’t require being in combat to work.

So it’s just the tool tip not updating? That’s cool, I can live with that. Thanks for the response.
