Tequatl/World Boss DPS build
Annnndddd this is why rangers get a bad rep… The fight is suppose to be about teamwork and you are simply ignoring everyone else in the battle to be selfish.
Other than that, yeah, its a good build for Teq. I would prefer using a mix of Soldier and Valkyrie. We dont need too much Toughness, if we are attacking the dragon, we wont get hit much by enemies. The only thing to worry about is the Tidal wave and the poison which will be negated by your high HP from your gear. I run full Valkyrie (Can also mix in Cleric for added healing power) for this fight because I’m using my ranger to defend the turrets. I find this role to be best for the class IMO since Pet’s are insta down when in front of Teq. Spirits, healing spring and pet support are perfect for buffing and protecting turret users. The power and crit damage are for the waves of enemies rushing to the turrets.
Pretty decent a group of rangers running this would have not trouble with Tequatl and would help keep each other up because you cant count on turrets for the buff.

The only thing to worry about is the Tidal wave
The whole point of the post is to suggest staying at 1500 range specifically because you avoid the tidal wave (and the fear, too). I arrived at the same conclusion when I tried Teq on my ranger.
It is ridiculously easy to constantly DPS at 1500 range. I’m pretty sure 100 rangers could cheese-kill Teq this way without the need for any real significant coordination.
I run this as a pure Teq damage build.

I use sigil and potion of undead slaying.
3716 attack
+45% damage
and way too much survivability
Is there any way I could increase my DPS on teq?
