Really? Berserker rangers get worse with every patch and now they are just not worth it to play anymore. Since QZ was the best and one of the only good offensive ranger skills its a sad story now.
I took a very long time for me to get fully berserker gear, ascended amulet, ascended ring, accesoiry’s and now i can start all over again.
They should give back your laurels with every patch because its just unfair to ruin complete specs.
I just wont get other amulets/ascended rings, because next patch they will probably ruin the spec i play at that moment too.

i got one laurel item (thanksfully wont buy the second one which i have the laurels for) i spend 120 gold in T3 armor plus all the mats to create berserker gear and for this. Now what i am going to do? What if i try another build and gear and next patch is another nerf and start all over again?

yep, I run full zerker LB/SB quickness (pet swap/zeph) build for my ranger in PVE dungeons. I just recently put a T3 cultural set on it because I finally felt like I could actually provide enough dps in a team to be acceptable due to this build. Week or so later and it gets the kitten nerfed out of it.

PS- tried conditions traps, hate them. Bub bye ranger for now, hopefully they compensate for this in a later patch ( better DPS on LB or something -.-)

At least you didn’t waste as much as me and make a legendary bow for your ranger At least I was able to make Sunrise for my guard who is my main anyways. Wish I would have known ANet had no intentions of fixing rangers and instead just keep screwing em…..

Same here, tier 3 cultural full berzerker SB/LB ranger..
I’ll just quit untill they can bring out a patch that actually makes some sense.

I honestly don’t think ANet will ever fix rangers. It’s been what 7 months almost and all I keep seeing is more and more nails being driven into the ranger coffin.

Yup pretty much this, eventually I will just quit the Ranger and the game.

Sadly, I believe at this point that they want people to quit playing Rangers.

They have looked at the class and they are either unable or unwilling to do anything to help Rangers so instead they’re trying to drive people away from playing it. In the end, they want you to be a Warrior or a Guardian for whatever reason.

I just wish they would be honest about what they’re trying to do.

Berserkers still have all their DPS. Nothing got nerfed in that regard. The quickness burst is what got nerfed and it is a global nerf. This effects everyone.

Your QZ burst still viable in that regard, it’s not lesser then any other classes quickness burst. You get an extra second of it now and a new stunbreaker.

As a ranger you still have access to it more then anyone else. I just hope they buff BM’s Zephyr’s Speed in like manner with an extra second or two.

This doesn’t ruin rangers… But now rangers need some kind of new utility .. Like sharpening stone but for power like your next 5 attacks deal more damage or something

Do you play ranger?

QZ got nerfed by 50%- that’s 50% less damage in the same timeframe. It means by the time I hit qz, lb 3 and then watch lb2 slowly go off, the new extended 1 second is gone- not to mention as my shots now have more of a gap they miss more, get dodged more, etc etc.

Basically they took away burst damage (made it a lot less effective)- probably because the devs play thief and one of them got hit by LB2 after they stealthed when the ranger was on qz and the thief got downed in his tent.

Seems anything that might hurt a thief (like putting a 10 second cooldown on CnD for instance..wouldn’t that be great?) is nerfed to hell.
