Hi, the bonus from SOH apply only for the first attack of a chaneling ability. So SOH and hunter’s call combo is kinda useless. In addition to that, hunter’s call is weaker than rapid fire and have 25sec CD. Nevertheless, it looks like a soild power sigents build, kinda standart, noting special but tis realy not about the Birds.

Still a slower 24k than other professions.
I actually, really only use the signet (for aimed burst) whilst using the greatsword, because gs2&3 hit ridiculously hard, with the 150% damage, however, with this spec, it is easy to generate a ton of might and damage, and those birds will hit like champs, and hopefully proc a fire/air sigil too
And the birds, even though they arent the hardest hitting attack, it is an attack that is much easier to land than most that does a great amount of damage,

I think there needs to be congruity between SoH and damage reflect. If SoH only affects the first hit from a multi-hit skill, then likewise only the first hit from a multi-hit skill should generate a damage reflect. If every hit from the skill generates a damage reflect, the every hit from the skill should benefit from SoH.
So if Barrage generates a reflect for each hit on each target for the entire skill, then popping SoH before Barrage should give 50% extra damage to each hit on each target for the entire Barrage.
The current implementation makes multi-hit skills a combination of minimal benefit with maximum disadvantage. On the flip side, high damage single-hit skills (e.g. Maul) are maximum benefit with minimum disadvantage. If you switch this mechanic so the the benefit and disadvantage balance each other out regardless of type of skill (e.g. minimum benefit with minimum disadvantage, or maximum benefit with maximum disadvantage), it’ll make for a healthier game.
(The better solution would be for damage reflect to reflect a percentage of the hit instead of a fixed amount. But since they don’t seem keen on fixing that, we’re left with modifying other skill effects to take into account the weird state of damage reflect.)

You are never, ever going to rapid fire someone for 16k damage unless they are a single digit up lvl theif and you’re full glass.

Full glass cannon ranger can easily reach 8k with rapid fire on a non-glassy target. Now change SoH to affect your next ability, not attack, and increase it’s damage boost to 150% and you have so insanely op rapid fire.

Like he said SoTH is a bad signet because it only affects the first hit of rapid fire. You are better off with SoTW. Because of traveler or centaur runes, there is no reason to ever run SoTH. It is probably one of the worst skills we have.

No one in this thread has mentioned anything about a boost being 150%.
“Does 150% damage” means NormalDMG + NormalDMG/2
“Does 150% extra damage” means Normal DMG * 2.5
