The Armor to fit the Traits
Well, it depends on how much you care about the skin and/or you have a particular skin you will be transmuting later. Putting that aside, I’d probably take the karma gear first (if you don’t need Karma for Legendary for example). 250k should be about enough for 6 pieces. If you don’t want to spend all the Karma, then TA is easy to get a group for. It can be somewhat frustrating sometimes though. HoTW path 1 is fastest path of those 3 and pretty easy as well, since the other two has under water bosses and people tend not to like going under water. But honestly. if you don’t care about the skin and don’t need the karma for anything in particular, 250k should give you a full set for Armor at least
Why do you need crit chance with cond damage?
Why do you need crit chance with cond damage?
So many sigils and traits that cause bleeding or some other effects on crit that it is worthy to have an ok crit rate, like around 50%.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)

Our bleed on crit trait is a 1 second bleed

It is garbage. If and only if you stack the cap of +100% condition duration (I think rangers can get there with food…) can you even make it tick twice. Stacking a bunch of precision for a 50% chance to get an extra 100 damage is pointless.
Sigils aren’t really a great reason to stack precision either.
Other professions do have reasons to stack precision on condition builds (mesmer and engineer for example) because their crit = condition traits are actually good. Ours aren’t.
I never said it is a good idea, but at least I can see a reason some rangers like crit on condition builds.
Also you can use vegie pizza to increase the condition duration, or you can even use omnon pie for a nice heal instead of staking healing power and regens … people like many things

You’re looking for Vatlaaw’s armor set.

Goes well with sigil of the Lich. Gives you that extra vitality you’ll be needing, as well as 10 percent condition duration. Combine with rare veggie pizza food and you’re good to go.
Well, i took paleeshi’s advice and spent most of my karma in Medium Whispering Shoulderpads/coat/gloves/leggings of infiltration. The set bonuses are pretty bad, but it was accessible, and i was thinking on running either Honor of the Waves or Twilight Arbor to get 2 pieces for head and boots since those from the karma vendor outside arah didn’t have those two slots with the specs i want.
But come to think of it this Vatlaaw does fit my criteria pretty well and the set bonus are pretty on par with the usage… Although something scared me… so the Vatlaaw’s armor only comes out the Mystic Forge slot machine? oh please… no… that’s the only reason i NEVER plan to get a legendary…
Guess it’s TA or HoW for me…
EDIT: or even Arah, since i noticed the poison set bonus, btw i’m down with TA, since the set bonus is better, and fyi i guess it’s obvious that cosmetic means close to nothing for me.

You can buy it off the TP, but it’s one of the more expensive sets.
