The hidden nerf
You are lucky there is two other adept minor traits to choose from.
Both Keen Edge and Predators Instinct is very good traits.
As for Evasive Purity – that one was hit hard. I suggested that they reduced the ICD to 7 seconds during the preview thread, but my suggestion/concern seems to have been overlooked

Keen edge isn’t viable for power which is what I’m referring to
Predators instinct should be a minor trait. If it’s going to stay were it is it needs something more as most builds already have cripple.
Thanks for the feedback
While it may not seem viable at first, it actually provides a very good DPS bonus.
With 0 condition damage and duration, EACH bleed applied adds around 280 damage over 2-3 seconds. Now, you can stack that 5 times. Suddenly you got 1300+ damage, as a BONUS. It also makes LB more fun to use, as people think you’re an arrow cart.

You realize that is less than 1 auto attack and it’s a major trait?
You realize that 10% of a potential 1400 damage shot is 140? that, being realistic, you will not get 10+ shots in that get the damage bonus unless you are chasing someone or playing PvE?
You do realize that once you dodge, the damage bonus do not apply, and that ever since the reduction in passive endurance regen, this boost will take a lot longer then before, to recover?
You do realize that conditions ignore armor completely? and that this trait gives a total of 1300 damage to one target, or spread across 5 targets, and that it does not give a squat about the enemy playing bunker or zerker?

1. I play pvp.
2. Im complaining because you used to be able to keep 100% endurance up 90% of the time on a power build before the nerf
3. Rapid fire alone does 13 hits, 13 × 140 = 1820 and thats at least heavy to medium target. Yea so they might dodge 2-3? but that is one skill. To kill in pvp you hit ppl 50+ times when they are a tank.
4. 1 condi is so easy to remove.. then 0 dmg
Actually, the ranger didn’t fare too badly with the endurance nerf.
You have to look at it comparatively. Lots of other classes get walloped harder than we do.
1. We often have a sigil slot free (using 4 weapons in many builds) which can be a sigil for endurance. That is the best option for rangers not taking WS (or needing to save the adept trait for reduction in survival skills) and not taking BM.
2. We have an outstanding ability to get 100% vigor up a great deal of time with vigorous training and/or vigorous renewal.
2a. Vigorous renewal is in a line which most rangers take (for empathic bond) and has minimum requirement. If you are running spirits, you tend to have high +boon duration. If you are not, you still can get 20% of your time (potential) at 100% endurance regen which more or less mitigates the nerf. Basically, you just lose first disable goes to pet to get it.
2b. Going 20 in BM isn’t a huge stretch and Vigorous Training is AE vigor. Without any sort of +boon duration, you have effectively 31% time of 100% endurance regeneration given your pets can swap every 16 seconds in combat and the skill is for 5 seconds. I find this to be one of the more underutilized boosts a ranger can provide! Move back to 20 BM and you won’t have an issue. It is one of the best vigor skills in the game really!
HS provides the benefit of VR to a group. Water Spirit does not.
The KEY is that our class has better means to compensate for the vigor reduction than other classes which received a similar nerf. That, on whole, makes rangers more. . . not less. . . effective in relative terms.
