Traits...
Skirmishing with traps is awesome. Even without something close to condition build.
Never have I stated the contrary but, that wasn’t the point of this post..
Yeah, people asked many times to move the trap traits to wilderness survival tree, but I think at this point of the game changes in the traits of this magnitude is impossible.
Many also think it is weird that many good traits for pets aren’t in the BM trait, like the cause 30% more damage on crit in skirmish, 30% pet move speed also in skirmish among others.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)

Don’t you dare put those in the BM trait it’d ruin my BM build where I take all of them!
@OP simple, don’t use a bow, go 20 into WS and get martial mastery, problem solved.
If you don’t like that solution, well tough, we can’t do anything about it and Anet CLEARLY likes where the trap traits are seeing as how countless people petitioned it, and simply swapping some traits around cant be -that- difficult seeing as how they did it like 6 times in the beta (yay hyperboles!).

I never said anything about moving the trap traits either, I simply want them to move quick draw in the first tier of the skirmishing tree.

No weapon mastery trait for ranger is out of the second tree, and I don’t think any prof has one in the first tier, why would bows be any different? It’s FAR too strong to be a minor.

Necromancer’s and Engineers would say otherwise.

Lol yeah I just noticed Hair Trigger was in first tier of fire arms and fire forged trigger was in second tier xD, woops.

My point was that the trapper build is one of the most effective for the ranger at the moment but at the same time, if you spec in traps you lose bow dps which is already lacking.

Yup, or you specialize in SB or in trapps, pick one.
But if you are a trapper then you probably are speced for condition damage and the SB already have low cooldown specially skill #2 so you wouldn’t gain much with 20% lower cooldown.

Poison is a really strong condition and using poison volley even more would be great and concussion shot at 20 seconds cooldown is beast.
You don’t lose Bow DPS! Our strongest SB skill is #1 – Crossfire. Stop lying even here, Daxxter.

Unless you’re a condi short bow which would really like that poison, and if you build your pet for condi damage getting #4 off as much as possible would be amazing.
Then again in either scenario I’m not sure that you’d necessarily wanna go traps, but who knows!
