Some time ago I had this short talk with Wizzö (a trapper ranger that makes cool montages) about the benefit of celestial on trapper compared to Dire. He said dire is the best choice by far because of heal, crits + raw damage but I’m not so sure because of the current low damage of traps.

Thing is, I have both ascended sets (celestial and dire) and want to know if it’s worth wasting some pricey runes for the difference between these two.

Feedback from trappers would be much appreciated.

Btw Dire > Cele (no might = no dmg on cele)

Cele > Rabid > Dire/Carrion.

you’d reall;y have to consider you’re main weapon choice first :

SB+traps= Dire (only really uses a conditions stat while power supports the speed of a shortbow auto bolstering its high bleed damage)
other set ups

traited for bleeds , main hand axe+dagger / gs or Sword+torch will be better set up for Cele as it contains might+condis and sword is fast better benifit from power+might stacks+crit chance+crit damage

i’d say nothing beats anything though some set ups need deeper thinking of what would benifit more from said amulet.

Try them both examples above.

Sorry, I meant cele is the best, in Wizzö’s words.

On topic: I’ve been using dire for a while so I’ll have to try celestial as suggested and see the outcome.
