Using this skill will give you 80% astral force. Is this intended? You seem to get the 2.5%*10 for you and your pet. It acts a heal when none of the other heals act as heals unless they actually heal you.

The way it works is more based on every time you deal damage and/or heal. Since troll is per-second its a great build-up working 100% as intended!

especially since it’s a survival skill, use of a full druid/glyph spec wouldn’t work so there is that negative to get the full druid healer benifit

It really depends on how they want you to generate AF. If they nerf TU→AF then staff will be the only way to reliably generate AF. I don’t think they should lock celestial form and staff together but like I said, it depends on their vision for druid.

It’s most likely unavoidable that healing % AF will be decreased and dmg% AF will be increased or another method to generate AF will be introduced such as boon application. Trying to generate AF with dmg is laughably bad and I’m using skills like rapidfire/barrage.

I don’t think they will “tidal lock” staff & celestial form.

In short, it was probably intentional as in they were testing the water to see if people chose it over staff and how they were going to balance out AF generation percentages.

I guess it is intended but actually really bad design. Without TU druid (celestial form) would be almost unusable without staff.

With TU you basically need nothing else and no other heal skill is viable unless you already run staff wich fills the bar.

To make it not cripple build variety (and force a single heal skill on almost evry druid spec) the system would need to be redesigned to work as % of the healing/damage done. This way other heal skills would also add a decent chunk to the bar. Also I dont see a reason to make the difference between healing/damage THAT high. Right now it is 1:10. Should propably be 1:2 or 1:3.

I hope this isnt intended, if not you basically need to run TU with druid cause it refills your Af as nothing and triggers Natural Mender every sec too

You could tell before the beta that the % from damage was not enough to generate the AF, 1/4% is crazy, that is dealing damage 400 times for every single time you want to go into the CAF. If Regeneration was counted as a heal for each tick, then fine, it wouldn’t matter, but it isn’t. AF generation from damage needs to be 1% at least, else TU will be the only viable heal for non-healer druids that want the form for utility but run DPS specs.

People are pretty much agreed it is intentional. Stop shouting.

It may not be the only way but it is certainly one of only two ways. If you don’t wanna run staff it suddenly becomes the only way.
