Unannounced Druid Changes
Huge fan of most of these changes and glad we can run glyphs with decent access to stun break. Aside from sorting out the AF generation as you mentioned, I would like to see some changes made to Glyph of Unity. It’s cooldown was increased, but it still remains a very weak skill. Even with decent power it doesn’t hit as hard as retaliation or confusion, and can be escaped easily. I personally don’t feel like the mechanic fits the druid at all, but if they insist on keeping it they should at least make it reflect 100% of damage dealt to you.

Agreed, I thought it might have been passable with a 16s cd to get the seed procs and whatever little damage it did, but now I can’t justify using it at all over a different skill. I think that the CAF version is probably strong for mega heals, but I haven’t really tested that. I’d like to see something done to the base version. Reflecting something like 25% damage would be interesting, 100 is probably too much.

Druidic Clarity- Breaks stuns.
Glyph of Equality- So this skill has a stun break now. Thanks much for that change. Think it opens up some great build possibilities with glyphs and MoC now. 4s instacast daze on a 24s cd when traited.
Natural Convergence- gives 2 stacks of stab at start of cast
Seed of Life- Blinds enemies when it blossoms
Glyph of Unity- Cd increase?
These are some of the changes I noticed that I didn’t see mentioned. Some of the changes are really good and if AF generation and whatnot gets sorted out, Druid can be pretty strong.
wow those are some incredible changes. I knew about SoL and NC. GoE being a stun break is freaking huge and the devs literally heard us out on that. ive been so busy running my OP staff/WK build that I didn’t even have time to play with glyphs yet. this is indeed great news.
heh, I could run my old Technobabble Build, would have a 6 Second instant Cast Daze, and a 4 second Insta Cast Daze.

I have no idea why GoU got an increased cool down? It seems strange to me, maybe it was over performing in raids or something idk. Maybe someone who used it a lot can chime in as to why it should get a longer cd?

I disagree. CAF is already gated behind a cd and 100% req to enter, it doesn’t need to be further hindered by degenerating outside of combat.
The best thing they could have done imo is to let us keep remaining AF when leaving CAF, let us enter CAF at any AF level, and added the cd. That way if you wanted to pop in the form to get the cleanse or stunbreak, or the stealth when leaving, you could do so without burning all of the force you built up, but would have to wait for the cd so you couldn’t abuse it. Then they could have adjusted fill rates from there to get it to a level where they wanted. And if necessary they could have put ICD on things like Celestial Shadow or Druidic Clarity.
If CAF worked like I described it would have added a higher ceiling to the Druid when played well and gave us more control and much needed utility.

This. I thought the whole reason people were asking for a 10sec cooldown was because they wanted to be able to access CAF at any level. In return for that, we would have a cooldown on it.
It’s like they listened to half the suggestions and ignored the other half…

It’s taking 45 seconds or more without the staff. Fights usually don’t last even that long. This is completely ridiculous.
