Heya, i wanted to share some Trait improvements i thought off and i thought it’d be fitting to share them after the beta weekend since i think soulbeast would greatly benefit from these changes.

  1. Merge the Minor Skirmishing Traits ‘Tail Wind’ and ‘Furious Grip’ together and make the Adept Trait ‘Sharpened Edges’ a Minor Trait. This would greatly improve condi Builds because they can noe use Sharpened Edges and Trapper’s Expertise without losing out on one of them due to both being Adept Traits.
  2. Marksmanship: Merge ‘Stoneform’ and ‘Brutish Seals’ together to one Master Trait. Then move ‘Steady Focus’ to the open Adept Trait slot and move the Skirmishing GM Trait ‘Vicious Quarry’ to the open Marksmanship Master Slot. This would greatly benefit power builds, since Vicious Quarry is missplaced in Skirmishing and will mostly be ignored due to Quickdraw being the better pick.
  3. Nature Magic is about support. The Adept trait ‘Bountiful Hunter’ should be moved to the now open Adept Slot in Skirmishing (see 1.).

These changes leave one Grandmaster Trait in Skirmishing and one Adept Trait in Nature Magic empty, but i did not yet have a good Idea for something to put in there.
What should also be mentioned is, that these changes are mostly made to benefit PvE Endgame Builds. Yet i think these changes would not be bad for the other Game Modes either.

Yeah, I would like my longbow to be viable in pve again. I made a ranger to have “range” capabilities not to be a melee / healer with a pet. Rangers having such poor power scaling is an issue.
