Anyway, I must ask, your elite skill keybind is M5? What exactly is that? I have a skill under M3 (center mouse button) but I just can’t figure out what M5 would be.

Certainly does, a lot of the builds were as I was testing, but you’ll notice the build I finally reveal actually has hardly any points in the power and crit trait lines but still outputs the same dps with new found survivability.

Hard to come across your ‘well known’ players during my available play times atm

Its nice watching these kind of videos, give new players in sight on what Rangers can do. But I noticed your enemies waste their dodge or don’t even use their dodge at all when you use maul, and maul pretty much has one of the or the highest burst in GS, bear animation should let a player be able to dodge that.

Gimmick builds like these are good for hot joint though.

8/10 for entertainment.

meh. rangers were always borderline OP in spvp, but crap in wvw

The dmg is good,the survivability is good,mobility is awesome…Still the team support is 0.

Why choose you instead of a Mesmer?Or a Thief?

Every profession has damage/support/control builds (in theory). Seems like he’s just playing a pressure role. Why take him over a mesmer or thief? I just thought that was an odd question since it’s not pro level play, but, maybe the mesmer is slow and the thief is melee. Battosai has talked about how ranger should be good at a ranged pressure role with high mobility, forcing people off point to face them up close. I hope that helps answer your question but maybe OP can do a better job.

Im not sure that a faster Ranger can compare Mesmers Portal skill..Also this Ranger is melee,GS with S/Warhorn most of the video..
I totally agree with Battosai.
But they have problem in putting more dmg in ranged Ranger,cause they cant split PvP with PvE (even tho they said that they would) and in pve the ranged dps should always be less than melee..
So we are going back at the support.
What do you bring in team to ditch that Mesmer or whatever profession we got in the first place?
More ranged dmg isnt an option right now
