I recently find out the reason why rangers sucks, why everyone sick them first, why people doesn’t want ranger in their groups and why we have lots of QQ posts on forum about this.

That entire video he had full stacks of condi, guard kill buffs, and food buffs. Not a single person he fought in that vid had a single buff on them.

Killing noobs in WvW doesn’t show anything about it being good. Just means you can kill people who probably spend more time AAing a npc then actually fighting other players

And that is one of things i am pointing out in the video.

Every ranger knows condi builds are good.
There are still glaring problems with the ranger class.

Really don’t understand this video. You’re acting as if the whole point of it is that it’s a joke, but theres nothing really funny about and no obvious point you’re trying to make so it turns out just looking like a really bad serious video, which is why so many people in the YT comments (and here) are responding as if it’s serious.

Another one of those faceroll bunker condi builds thinking they are actually good with the class. I want to see you do this in a group fight of 10-15

So what exactly was this video meant to show?… You even declared yourself these are not optimal challengers… Aka complete noobs… hell look at the Powermancer focus your wolf for half a century…. A ranger can take on inexperienced players with little to no effort especially with the Flavour of the month Condition Cheese build+Full stacks but when matched against someone that actually knows what they’re doing, the Ranger comes into its own scale of underpowered.. Yes. We don’t lack mobility but I can bet any amount of money a good player knows you can lock down a ranger easier than anything, not to mention a large majority of the other classes can match or beat us when it comes to mobility.

Personally, if you were trying to say that rangers are equal to the other classes. Find some experienced Veterans of the other classes and go up against them with their current Meta builds…

That’s my next step. This video was just to make fun of stuffs, is a really relaxed stuff, i don’t know why people everything so serious, but its up to each person.

Next video will be against “real” challengers and meta builds, even against Youtubers / streamers.

The things is, if you did this video as a joke, then it isn’t particularly funny, it only show rangers aren’t useless in an no sarcastic way, as a joke that video is “meh”.
If that video was serious (I know it isn’t) it would be even worse.

The thing that annoys me about WvW videos and people’s responses to them is that defeating enemies “proves” the person being defeated wasn’t any good. Apparently the only way to show you’re fighting a skilled opponent is to have both people running condi bunkers and be unable to kill each other after a horrifically boring 10 minute fight.

I know there are some clues as to your opponent’s skill, but it’s just a general comment. If you completely annihilate a skilled opponent, people will still comment he was clearly a noob based purely on the fact he lost the fight.

There is a plenty of good ranger videos who actually do the exact same thing against good players.

Kudos to you sir, loved it. If anything I feel overpowered with my ranger rather than being the odd one out.

I always dislike WvW videos that try to “prove” something. I know you claim this isn’t serious, but if you want to get a better message across by playing tPvP against top players rather than newbies who don’t know how condition ranger works. Not only that, but any decent ranger knows that SotF Regen and it’s variants are extremely overpowered 1v1 and even 1v2.

Great video! Though I have never been much of a fan of playing a melee Ranger, it’s nice to see other people who excel at it.
