It used to be bird pets only… now there is no bird trait but other pets get traits in the master level. ~Yes~ I do know the change has been in for a while. Since the suggestion forum is archived this is the only place I could think of to put this and hope someone at ANet sees it.

Perhaps they could make a trait like Windborne Dagger on ele where if you have a bird pet you get 25% speed buff? (The bird would have the 25% speed too to keep up with the player) …I know they already have Quickening Screech as I’ve been playing on my ranger for like 2,400 hours now with bird pets.

Maybe that would be too useful [/sarcasm], but still there is no bird trait for us bird rangers >.>

The bird trait WAS vigorous training so if you want “a bird trait” I’d just take vigorous training, that or pick up one of the shorter CD traits that other lets don’t normally get the luxury of due to the “mastery” traits.

I already use it. I already stated I was well aware of the history of that trait. I’m merely noting the fact that all pets have dedicated traits except birds and making a suggestion for a new trait for said birds :L

Ideally I was hoping someone at ANet would see my suggestion lol (crosses fingers >.<)

[edit: Perhaps removing Quickening Screech as a skill of the pet and making Quickening Screech like Signet of the Hunt as a bird trait… that way when swapping pets we don’t have them immediately using the skill and not attacking the enemy that has inevitably gone after the ranger.]
