Like title said ranger need an option to disable pets until I want to call it out (stow option right now is useless because as soon I attacked something it will auto summon my pet). Why I don’t want my pet? Because these pets look so dull and bore looking.

Many (not all) but many make rangers because they like the idea of using SB/LB.

why don’t you just ignore the pet?

Use a bird (smallest/least noticable pet). Put it on Passive.

I wouldn’t mind the option either…..but it’s how it is right now.

Use a carrion devourer and a jungle or cave spider. The devourer works great with RaO: its F2 give might on every tick, and its auto attack gives 2 stacks. The spiders have immobilize and a poison field, and either another immobilize or weakness/vulnerability. And they are both ranged so its easier to keep them out of AoE’s

My wife plays a ranger and loves her pets, except in jumping puzzles. So I know she’d love the option to turn off the auto call just for those.

I use guard to park my pet in jp.
