Ok so I came up with this idea, we all know that to make ranger’s utility work as in other classes we have to go 30 in specific trait line. Also remembering as spirits got nerfed (you may think otherwise and you are free to) because they were too easy to play, and no one likes that, and anet discourages that making game easier for some and painful for others.
So about idea. If nothing works without going fully into it (and even then it mostly isn’t that good) I went fully into nothing. Let me show you what I have in mind.
Some may think this is a joke, but I assure you. I am seriously playing THAT. It doesn’t allow you to burst too much, you can’t be sure of crits and condi dmg isn’t that good, you have although decent amount survivablity. Also I put my pets on Avoid Combat mode to be sure there is only max 1-2 sec delay with F2 skill usage.
All that build requires to make it work is SKILL. Sorry, I shouldn’t even call this build. Be free to change it as you like, but remember. The idea is NOT to create a build that puts you closer to any “something” oriented build.
I wonder how ANet would screw up that.

I think sigils of battle or energy would compliment your build better, and as might gives power and condition damage, you still wouldn’t be specced towards any of them. I also reworked the traits a bit. If you really didn’t make this build as a joke 14 points in all trait lines just to be spread out is a waste. I think this would work better. I was also thinking about making an all around build. My idea was to make a build that has power, condition and pet damage as well. I personally would’ve called it Trinity build. I was thinking that if someone can deal with one of your damage sources you still have 2 decent ones you can count on, but in practice I think most skilled pvp players will be able to deal with 2-3 of your damage sources if your stats are so spread out. You also won’t have a role in PvP, which focuses on 5 people teams. Its like playing with 4.25 players.

Yeah that part was a little joke, but still I did manage somehow to make it work.

Yeah, you know don’t count pet damage as separate dmg source as it is either power or condition and it is counter as such. The only difference is that it’s not us who are dealing it
Your changes are quite nice, it doesn’t destroy concept of the build and makes it little more viable. I also changed LB to GS and it works even better :P but it might be my personal preference
