your gonna want to wait till after the skills update, changes will be made that may require you to purchase different equipment than this meta.

Condition/regen is probably the strongest dueling build in the game.

Yeah, I also would wait Dec 10th to see the skill changes, but in general condition/regen builds is really powerful in 1v1 situation.

Go spirit Ranger for 1v1 then after dec 10th switch to a BM build with drake and wolf. As long as empatic bond exists, it will mandate condi builds to be viable 1v1.

They also will not have the damage to take down a guardian within a reasonable timeframe.

Thieves are a hit and miss with this spec depending on their crits if they cnd/backstab and the overall skill level of them.

Thats half the classes isnt it? I dont see where this is one of the ‘strongest’.

@Dead Muppet, I beat engi’s and necro’s all the time 1v1. Yes, they are tough to fight, but with the right build it comes down to how well you can play your class and out play your opponent. Depending on the guardian, yes, they can take awhile to kill or sometimes you may not even be able to kill them. However, same goes for them, they would be unable to kill you.

Em, you may be forgetting the fact that a build does not make you “invincible”. Can a BM lose to every class in the game? Hell yea. Every class has strong builds. It just so happens to be that our power builds really aren’t as good as our condition builds, especially the regen variants.

A: Its the obvious choice for strongest Ranger dueling build. It may not be the strongest in the game but it’s the best we have.
B: A good regen/condition build player will eat a D/D thief alive and the dec 10th update means they can’t perma stealth anymore to cleanse conditions as easily as they used to.
