I’m curious to know why a Ranger 15 Trait is now better than a Warrior’s 25 trait.

Mighty Swap gives both the Ranger and their pet 3 stacks of Might upon the pet being activated. This can occur every 10 seconds.

Versatile Power gives the Warrior 1 stack of Might upon switching weapons. This can occur every 10 seconds, or 5 when using the minor trait Fast Hands.

Even with 15 points in Discipline the Ranger now has better access to Might AND it affects their pet as well. In what ways do you believe this to be a balanced trait?

Oh I haven’t. ANet always has me laughing hysterically whenever they give burst damage capabilities to non-burst damage specs. It makes for some good laughs.

ure, class plays a role in it, but Rangers have roughly the same attack power as a Warrior does when it comes to comparing zerk builds. Also, they have more effective range options. I don’t see how them having a skill that grants them AND their pet Might like that for less point investment is really justified.

This guy doesn’t know how game mechanics work.

Weird that I only get a max. of 3k outta my storm spirit as a condi ranger, but w/e, another topic.

We should really consider raiding this guys home, lawl.

Lol. This same guy had a topic the other day where he said he only tested something twice as opposed to testing it multiple times, because he said something along the lines of “it will be the same variable every time, so it won’t change, so you’ll get the same results the 1000th time as you do the 2nd time.”

I would link the topic because some of the things in there are comedy gold, but I’d be afraid of an infraction since this thread could be taken as attacking somebody (not my intention, I just find the things said to be hilarious) and linking it could lead to “singling him out.”

If you can find the topic, get some popcorn ready. Oh, and the thieves are crying so hard right now that it’s actually making me feel better about my ranger even though upcoming ranger changes don’t really budge the state of the class in any direction.

I’ll just mention that giving a stack of might to a ranger AND his pet is the same as giving a stack of might to a warrior – since the ranger’s damage is divided up across the two entities.
