Really, really that trait should come back as the spirits are not designed to be banners that you can kill.

The spirits after all the nerfs are really bad, as the offensive are used exclusively in raids because is a very small fight arena.

We need that trait back the way it was, also we need to remove all those internal cool downs that make the spirits really bad.

I don’t care if they get only a 33% chance on hit to trigger, but the water spirit with a 10 seconds ICD for an 800 heal or the sun spirit 8 seconds for 2 stacks of 3 seconds is really bad. And more when first you have to hit and then get into the 75% chance in the next 6 seconds that the buff last.

I’d like them to simplify the workings: You get the buff so you get a chance to trigger it as many times as possible for those 6 seconds.

Just make the spirits work just like Necromancer’s Flesh Wurm, complete with ground targeting, as well as activation into stun break and shadowstep (in addition to passives/active effects unique to each spirit).

Would be super fun to use with SB and it’s flanking bonuses.

The reasoning they made the change was because of the zoo effect. Could simply change it to act as a aura, witha wisp floating around you to signify whch spirit is currently up, giving the mobility and getting rid of the zoo effect. But why would you make a simple change to make an entire set of utilities viable again after a year ¯\("/)

yep, I think the solution is ground targeting, and/or making the spirits invulnerable to AOE damage, and/or making teleport targets (and re-balancing their effects accordingly).

they are 100% useless in WVW/PVP atm.

downed state is bad for PVP

And most of PvE content. Now that i think about it rhey are only usefull in raids as the arena is so small.
