Hello rangers, i’m looking for suggestions about the best weapons skins for my classic no shinies ranger: actually i’m using eir longbow, norn greatsword and axe, komali dagger, fiery dragon sword and howler (i know they’re shiny but i miss the good old Prince rurik and the howler is just so cool for a ranger to not have it)

Try the legionnaires longbow, I think that’s one of the most beautiful “No shiny” longbows in game!

My fave LB skin is Araneae from the last Halloween event, but at 215g, maybe not. Whisper’s Secret, Legionnaire’s, and Royal Ascalonian LB skins are nice. And, since you’re a Sylvari, the Warden’s LB, dagger and sword skins are perfect for us salads <g>.

I love the simple iron greatsword. It’s pretty much the only weapon in the game that looks real. All of the Krytan weapons are decent as well.

I like the ebonhawke weapons. The shortbow and longbow share the same graphic and it’s the largest bow that I’ve found and really looks great. The greatsword also has a nice simple look but sufficiently edgy.

Goes well with the falconeer armor set as well.

If you don’t like that, the ceremonial weapons also look quite nice with their burnished gold look and subtle movement in the cloth.

If you want to go for more raw, hunter-ish stuff, Godskull and Ogre sets. Some pirate skins work pretty good too (torch).

I second this. You can buy them for karma too. I think you can just buy the lowest tier ones since the skins are all the same.

My concern with the Vanguard sets are their colors – which we can’t dye anyway.
If they were black instead of iron-blue, and the silverish blades were Dark Steel, it would by my chose.

Faction weapon is look awesome too,try it!
