Q:
What am i doing wrong
If you’re getting up to 20 bleeds by yourself. I don’t know what’s going wrong. How much are they ticking for? Also, with necros being so popular, everybody has as much condi removal as they can muster.
Maybe try shamans gear (spvp) for a tankier setup. Just for a bit. I find it helps me learn a class if I play with tanky stats first, then move to more glassy stats.
Kal Snow – Norn Guardian
One of three things.
1) Your traits.
2) Your skill usage.
3) Not watching enemy buffs.
I’ll simply explain the third as the others are much more in depth and controversial. If you see a warrior or guardian on a node that you want to cap, you have to really watch out for berserker’s stance, shield stance (guardian shelter), renewed focus, basically anything that will block your condition application. Don’t just dump everything you have on the start, save your traps for when they activate a blocking mechanism so that they have to either cancel it or eat the damage. Control the fight. That is the most important thing. Once their cooldown is off, apply some cc (spike trap, axe #3, dagger #5, sb #4, etc) and dump your conditions. If you can’t bring them down with burn, poison, and 10 stacks of bleed in a matter of seconds, you don’t have enough condition damage.
