I’m coming up on my 10pt. Beastmastry trait, and wonder what people think about Mighty Swap (pets gain 3 stacks of Might for 10sec. on swap)? I’m primarily soloing, but am starting to get into dungeons, and find myself swapping out pets frequently to keep them from getting ganked ANYWAY, so I wonder if people are using the Trait and are noticing that it helps? FYI – I often run a Wolf/Lynx or Spider/Raven set when travelling around in case it matters.

i also use mighty swap because i swap pet frequently and with companion’s might from skirmish i add 1 might to my pet for every crit i do ( i have pumped my precision ) soi think it’s good

Ooooh, nice synergy. I think I have Sharpened Edges in my Skirmkishing 10pt. trait right now to add to the short bow Bleed condition, but I’m respeccing when I turn 40 and use my Manual – might have to try that. Do you notice a nice bump in pet damage as a result?

And i wanna try the sharpened edges . Well i don’t if the dps is better in a way o r other but i have see that the might from trait last only 1 second so i don’t what to think.

Jungle stalker’s Mighty Roar + Mighty Swap + Fortifying Bond (15pts nature magic) = cat with 13 stacks of might on it every 30 seconds. Companion’s Might can easily push this past 15 stacks.

I think companion’s might only adds might to the pet if the pet itself crits.. I tried it out and my crits did not add any might to my pets boon list, otherwise we would be racking up huge stacks of might I guess.

No i have see that companion’s might add might to your pet on your crit but duration is really short (minor of 1 sec).

Between mighty swap, quickness on pet switch, full health for pets, a possible might and fury if they were 25% health before swapping out and access to a second F2 skill (try stalker for mighty roar) there is a lot to be gained from swapping pets frequently. Companion’s might seems pretty terrible, especially seeing as players can get 10 seconds of might from crits with a sigil or 40% chance with food.
