…is the inability to have control over your pets.

Pet mechanic is amazing, I know that, but the lack of control over your pet positioning and their skills makes me look at Ranger as an automated boring profession which is forced to rely on AI.

Have you guys ever proposed to have positional control over your pets, like a circle on where you want your pet to be, and control over every pet skill?

Trust me , pretty much everything has been suggested and discussed about pets over and over again and everything has been succesfully ignored for the last 10 months by Anet.

I just use Guard if I want positioning ability…. But I’d love to have more pet control, would raise the skill cap on ranger quite a bit.

The fact you have to use the shout skills to tell the pet what you should be able to do normally is what is sad. The fact I’m using an entire skill to tell me pet to move to this area and attack anything when I should be able to anyway.

I’m much rather the f1-f3 be what the basic shouts are now.

Idk I kinda like Guard for the Stealth + Protection thing and it gives you A LOT of utility and nasty combos to pull off. I know that IF they add some of those basic commands to the actual F skills shouts would get a total revamp…

Its been discussed and it was decided that the Anet dev team couldn’t be bothered to code it, like every other suggestion that requires actual work of the devs’ part.

Do they even have a Ranger guy/team?

Truth is at this point, 90% of rangers would rather be rid of their pet or just have them as decorative fluff

Pet, what Pet? In WvWvW my pet stays dead most of the time in large fights.
