Saw a ranger with an Arctodus named “Emergency Food Supply” and just about wet myself laughing. That’s cold man. Real cold.

I named my armorfish “Fish Tank” It’s a fish that tanks, Fish Tank.

I have Mr Snugglesworth (Snow Leopard), Lord Woofington (Wolf), Lord WibbleWobble (Jellyfish) and Mr Bubbles (Armorfish).

I’m tempted to rename Mr Snugglesworth ‘Chairman Meow’.

My Hyena is usually named Sweetums, when I remember to re-name her.

I’m embarrassed to admit my wolf is usually called Lipstick.

I do wish the names wouldn’t revert to the default every time you swap in a different pet.

I named my pig Bacon. I named my armorfish Sushi.

My Muriellow is named “Mugly”, my Bear is “Baloo”, my Scorpion is “Its My Nature”, my Jellyfish is “Jam Up”, my Lynx is “Lap Scratcher”, my DrakeHound is “Odie”, my Raven is “Edgar Allan”, my Eagle is “Ole Baldie”. Not all the funniest in the world, but just w/e struck me when I tamed them…

My Pet pig is named “Spider pig”

I named my fern hound shorty in memory of my dog that got put down, but my other pets usually stick with the name shnoo shnoo.

I’ve seen a white moa named Pekker and a pink moa named The Pink Pekker. I’ve also seen brown bear named Da Bears, Lynx named Snaglepus, Jellyfish named U Jelly.

My Raven “That’s So Raven” get’s a few compliments here and there despite how stupid and unoriginal it is.

I’ve seen some of you rangers out in the field. I only know that because of your pet names.

I’ve named my salamander drake Godzilla.

In the past I have used pets just to use names I liked.

Spider – Areop Enap
Sylvari Hound – Leafeon
Ice Drake – Feraligator
Jellyfish – Squishy (I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be my Squishy)
Raven – Lenore
Hyena – Shenzi (but almost went with Ed)
Bear – Ursa
Moa – Polly or Sam
Boar – Pumba

But really, I want one that looks like Pikachu, because that’s what I want to shout whenever my ranger says “I Choose you!”. Aaaaand if you haven’t thought of it already, you better not steal it from me! :P

Anyways, all of my pet names are references, some obvious, some not, but kudos to you if you got them!

So far the most recent pet name I saw that I loved was someone who beat me to it, and named their shark Bruce.

I remember back in GW1, there was a ranger guy with a moa named.. Rocky Balmoa.
I still think this is the funniest of all!

My snowy owl is Oreilly.

I named my eagle Juvenile Horse.

Well my polar bear is named Oslo after Robbaz King of Sweden : Lord of the Nipples. His polar bear pet in skyrim was named Oslo

My owl is named Dr Hoo. Not terribly original, but I like it. I use bears little, but whenever I remember to change the name for polar bear, I use Achoo, though that name worked better in WoW as the bears in there had this grin on them.
